Why ibiza for a warm weather TRi training camp?
In Ibiza, in line with the rest of Spain, the locals are passionate about their cycling. There are several cycling and Triathon teams on the island, a Velodrome, and an excellent Mountain Bike race track facility. The North of the Island has long been a cyclist's secret for its beauty and good quiet roads and challenging mountain routes.
The sea doesnt go much below 15 Degrees Celcius and locals swim regularly for extended sessions through the winter without wetsuits. The running routes and trails are spectacular, many and varied, and have been pre-mapped out by us.
And then of course there's the scenery... ..don't take our word for it, have a look at some of our snaps...
The Balearic Council are keen to promote Cycling & Sports Tourism in general as an alternative to the more usual type of tourisism Ibiza has become famous for and have developed the excellent interactive Ibiza Ciclo Turismo Website to encourage this.
Off Season Training - October to May
"From October to May the average daytime air temperature is about 15-18º celsius, however in the sun this can rapidly climb to 25º C. It does of course occasionally rain, but locals insist it's only ever for 2-3 days at a time, the rest of the time the sun shines down from clear, blue skies"

"Ibiza in Winter is not the bustling beach destination of the summer, although most days sun-bathers can be found on the beaches, many of whom still swim. Ibiza is actually sunnier and warmer than on Mallorca in the winter season, which makes a winter break here a great idea. Winter visitors have the island to themselves, with quiet roads, beautiful deserted beaches, and the wonderful feeling of peace and tranquility for which Ibiza is so well known."
